1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing, activating, or using the BitBot WordPress plugin ("Service") provided by youami.ai ("we", "our", or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

BitBot is a WordPress plugin that provides:

  • AI-powered chatbot functionality that answers visitor questions based on your website content
  • AI content generation tools for creating blog posts
  • Content analysis and topic discovery features

3. Account and API Key

Upon activation, the plugin generates a unique API key for your WordPress site. You are responsible for maintaining the security of this API key. Do not share your API key with third parties. We reserve the right to revoke API keys that we believe are being misused.

4. Subscription and Payment

4.1 Free Trial

New users receive a 30-day free trial with full access to all features. No credit card is required for the trial period.

4.2 Paid Subscription

After the trial period, continued use requires a paid subscription at $10 USD per month. Payment is processed through Stripe and billed monthly.

4.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your WordPress dashboard or by contacting us. Upon cancellation, you will retain access until the end of your current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial months.

4.4 Price Changes

We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days notice. Price changes will not affect current billing periods.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

  • Generate spam, malicious content, or content that violates laws
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or compromise the Service
  • Share or resell access to the Service
  • Use automated tools to abuse API rate limits
  • Generate content that infringes on intellectual property rights
  • Create content that is defamatory, harassing, or threatening
  • Misrepresent AI-generated content as human-written where disclosure is required

6. Content Ownership

6.1 Your Content

You retain all ownership rights to your original website content. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

6.2 Generated Content

Content generated by the AI (blog posts, chat responses) is provided to you for your use. You are responsible for reviewing all generated content before publishing. We make no warranties about the accuracy, completeness, or originality of generated content.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third-party providers including Anthropic (Claude AI), OpenAI, Stripe, and Supabase. Your use of the Service is also subject to the terms and policies of these providers. We are not responsible for any changes or interruptions to third-party services.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE. WE DO NOT WARRANT THE ACCURACY OR RELIABILITY OF AI-GENERATED CONTENT.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, YOUAMI.AI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless youami.ai from any claims, damages, or expenses (including attorney fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

11. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime. We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications that temporarily affect service availability. We are not liable for any downtime or service interruptions.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

13. Modifications to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through the plugin dashboard. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
