Delete your data

1. I'm a visitor who messaged a BitBot-powered Page or website

If you DM'd a Facebook Page or Instagram account, or chatted with the assistant on a website, and you want your messages and any contact details we captured removed, email support@youami.ai from the email address you shared (so we can confirm it's really you), subject Delete my data. If you remember the site or Page you contacted, mention it so we can find your records faster.

We'll delete:

• Every message in the conversation thread
• Lead records (email, phone, name, notes)
• Your Facebook Page-Scoped ID (PSID) or Instagram-Scoped ID
• Cached profile fields (name, profile picture, locale, timezone)
• Any embeddings or analytics rows that reference you

2. I'm a site owner using BitBot on my WordPress site

To delete your entire BitBot account and all data we hold about your site (indexed pages, chat history, leads, integrations, billing records):

1. Open BitBot → Settings in your WordPress admin and click Delete site data, or
2. Email support@youami.ai from the address you registered with. Subject: Delete my BitBot account.

Deactivating the plugin alone is not enough — your data stays on our servers until you either click the in-plugin delete button or email us. We confirm within one business day and complete deletion within 30 days.

3. I'm a Facebook Page admin who connected BitBot to my Page

If you connected your Facebook Page to BitBot and want to revoke access + delete every record tied to that Page:

1. Open BitBot → Integrations → Facebook Messenger in your WordPress admin and click Disconnect. This removes our Page Access Token and unsubscribes our webhook.
2. To delete the connected Page's conversation history and visitor records as well, also email support@youami.ai with your Page ID. We'll confirm within one business day.
3. Alternatively, you can revoke BitBot's access from your Facebook Business Integrations page — Facebook will notify us, and we'll purge the related data automatically.

What we keep, and for how long

Once deletion is processed, we retain only what we're legally required to keep (typically tax / invoice records for 7 years for customers who paid us). Everything else — chat transcripts, leads, embeddings, integration tokens, profile data — is purged within 30 days of your request.
